This Privacy Policy explains how ShirePath Solutions LLC ("ShirePath," "we," "our," or "us") handles information in connection with this website. We built the site to collect as little as possible, and this policy describes what that means in practice.
Who we are and what this covers
ShirePath Solutions LLC is an independent software studio based in Columbia, TN. This policy covers your use of shirepathsolutions.com (the "site"). Paid client engagements are handled under a separate written agreement; any project-specific data practices live in that agreement, not here.
Information we collect
From visitors browsing the site: none. There is no newsletter sign-up and there are no accounts.
When you use the contact form. The form sends what you type: which of its two choices you picked (something that keeps breaking, or an idea that doesn't exist yet), your email address, your name if you give it, and your answers to that choice's three questions (what's broken, what you've tried, and what "done" would look like; or what the idea is, who it is for, and what "done" would look like). If you came to the form from one of our case sheets or notes, it also says which one, unless you remove that. Our server checks it and hands it to Amazon SES, which delivers it as an email to our Google Workspace mailbox. SES also sends a short confirmation to the email address you give, at most once a day per address: which of the two choices you picked, which case sheet or note sent you if any, and what happens next. It does not repeat your name or anything you wrote. The site does not store your message, and our server logs record only whether a message was sent, never what it said. To slow down spam, the server keeps a short-lived count of recent messages per IP address, and of confirmations per email address, in memory only and writes them nowhere. If sending fails, the page offers to open the same message in your own email app instead.
Collected automatically by our hosting provider. Like any website, ours runs on servers that keep standard request logs. These may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) keeps them for up to 30 days for security and reliability, then deletes them. We do not use this data to build a profile of you, and we run no analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.
When you contact us. If you use the form, email, or call, we receive whatever you choose to include: your name, email address or phone number, and the contents of your message. Form messages and email you send us are delivered to our Google Workspace mailbox. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
How we use information

That is the whole list. We do not use your information for anything else.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it for anyone's advertising or marketing. We do not use it to train AI models, and we do not track your activity across other websites.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies, no session storage, and no tracking pixels. It keeps one thing in your browser's local storage: a short list of the secrets on the home page's map you have found, so a hidden sheet can mark them. It never leaves your browser, and that sheet has a button to clear it. The map itself is drawn in your browser from the date and the hour, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the site and our email. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each is bound by its own terms.

Our source code is public and hosted on GitHub, but GitHub receives no visitor data from this site.
Do Not Track
Because we do not track your browsing across other sites, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" browser signal to turn off. The site behaves the same either way.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party sites, including our profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies when you visit them.
Children's privacy
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, through the contact form or otherwise, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We serve the site over HTTPS and apply a strict Content-Security-Policy. The contact form handler validates what it receives, stores nothing, and logs no message content. The strongest protection here is structural: there is no visitor database to breach, because the site keeps no visitor data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security for the messages you choose to send us.
Your choices
Since we hold almost nothing about you, there is little to access, correct, or delete. If you have contacted us and want to know what correspondence we hold, or want it corrected or deleted, email conner@shirepathsolutions.com and we will take care of it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the site works or for legal reasons. When we do, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes take effect when posted.
